WORST TRANSPORT COMPANY EVER!!! do not trust your shipment with this Co.

this is the worst transport company we have ever dealt with. they attempted to deliver last Wednesday (without a forklift, needed as cargo was heavy), then they said on Thursday. Every time "we" would call in just to find out that it had been re-scheduled for Friday, then Monday between 11-1pm, then from 2-4pm and now for tomorrow. Are they serious???? Obviously NOT. We are a very serious and committed company, something that they obviously lack of. Their customer service representatives are unable to provide you with their last name, rep. number or extension number. Ha! smart! that way no one can keep track of info. related to their customers. It's so noticeable they are short on budget to hire better prepared employees. They are over 3 days delay and they talk so careless and so unprofessional. It is very disappointing as we do commit with our customers and work hard to keep it that way and provide them with our best service. We cannot afford using this company only to damage our customer relations and make us look untrusting with our customers. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! - They are just a bunch of jokers!

Horrible Delivery Times and Customer Service

Never believe the number of days they claim your freight will be delivered. I booked a load that stated 3 days. Its been now 7 days and you can only speak with some 12 year old girl who still plays with barbie dolls, no clue about the business. Also not having access to the terminal directly is a hugh inconvenience. If your time is worth anything DON NOT USE CENTRAL TRANSPORT. I hope they go out of business, because their service SUCKS... So to save your self lots and lots of aggravation simply pay a few more bucks and stay away from Central Transport.

Doesn't get any worse...

I've worked with CTI for two years now as a fright broker and they never disappoint with how low their service standards are. When mistakes happen their corporate structure makes it impossible to find someone to take responsibility. You are stuck dealing with their customer reps for any and all issues. They refuse to admit fault and never pay for damaged freight. One of my customers sued CTI successfully for damaged freight which I was very happy to see; it's unfortunate it takes litigation for CTI to own a mistake. Suffice to say they're the worse carrier in the US!!!

This has to be the most unpunctual company on the market. use them if you want your shipment weeks behind sch.

I will never use them again for anything or if purchasing anything ill request the shipper to use anyone but them.

I suggest everyone use a different company for there transport and shipping needs. thanks,

Getting a trailer picked up.

I have had a trailer on my dock door for 2 weeks now trying to get them to pick it up. So the last time i called I told them if they don't pickit up by in the morning i will have it as abandoned and have it towed... So lets see what happens... They are the worst company to deal with you can never get a supervisor so bet when I have it towed. I bet a supervisor will call me. but then I will play the same game with them... I'm in my right to have it towed...

Late Deliveries

We tried giving them another chance after they were removed from our approved vendor list a few years ago for constant late deliveries. Guess what? They are LATE AGAIN. After being on hold for 27 minutes, I finally spoke to a "customer service" representative who basically told me to suck it up. They were just "running a little late". No kidding? They have Horrible customer service. They have Pitiful performance. I have notified all of our vendors to NEVER choose Central Transport again. We have not used them for outbound freight in years - obviously, for good reason. I think I will add a note about their horrible service to my email signature so every single person I correspond with will know it.

WORST. COMPANY. EVER.

I ship many pallets in and out of my company each week. Central Transport is the absolute worst company to ship anything with. They show up one day with my skid all the way to the front of the trailer. All I have is a forklift so the driver says he never carries a pallet jack. Waits 2 hours for another pissed off driver to show up with a pallet jack. Its always something with this company. And if you actually want to speak with someone GOOD LUCK. Be prepared to wait at bare minimum 30 minutes. When you mention the long wait times to the rude operator her response will be "it used to be worse". Wow.

Late Delivery

Punxsutawney shipped a pallet to me on May 19,2014. Today is June 2,2014 as yet the pallet has not been delivered. When I called to get a phone number to their warehouse in Bangor Maine, I was told that they do not have a phone at that location. I am located 12 miles from their warehouse. I was told that it was scheduled for delivery today. The Statue Factory, Kenduskeag, Maine. I have lost over a weeks worth of business. This is a seasonal business and if this doesn't come this week, I will have lost two weeks of business. I have asked Punxsutawney to not use them again for my shipment. This is more than a week longer than it took YRC to deliver from them. Merchandise not on the lot is lost business. The wait to speak to a person from this company is over twenty minutes.

Review about Horrible Customer Service from San Joaquin Hills, California

I worked for a 3PL. This is the WORST carrier we ever dealt with. It will take them two to three times of missing the pickup. And then when they get your freight, they won't deliver it until days, sometimes weeks after it was scheduled to deliver. Their customer service employed are all rude ***. Forget trying to get up the ladder for a supervisor. Even the Director of Business Management Larry Minutillo won't help you. You can email their "Customer Service" and you MIGHT get a response 5 hours later. Horrible.

False deliver date promises. Lots of wasted time and profit

Central Transport company is the most horrendous delivery service I’ve ever had to work with. My shipment has been delayed 3 times/days so far with these jerks. I’ve reschedules my business tasks, and meetings around the false promises these guys make of delivering. I could not deliver on my business promises because these jerks can't keep a schedule. I understood one delay, ok..but three! It's been three days going into a weekend and now a whole other week and I still do not have my goods. I HIGHLY recommend NEVER using these clowns ever again as they could impact your business as well.

Worthless company - NEVER use them to SHIP ANYTHING

We have been waiting for a full week for our pallets of goods to be delivered and we are less than 90 miles away. Each day our production manager contacts them and indicates that we desperately need our product and they simply say "it will be the tomorrow". They finally tell us the freight has been subcontracted out and they won't tell us with who, provide a tracking number, nor tell us when the merchandise will be delivered to our location. We have to simply sit here and wait with no actual information of where our product will be delivered. Any time you call customer service you sit and wait on the phone for at least 30-40 minutes and then end up with a rude and unhelpful representative. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. SPREAD THE WORD.

DO NOT SHIP WITH CENTRAL TRANSPORT

After a small warning not to go with C.T. I decided to use them due to the rate and the the location was not far. MISTAKE!!!!! Truck showed up 7 hours late for pick up, customer service was even worst. Friendly customer service that don't have a clue about logistics. They do not return calls or emails. Figured I give them another shot from a different state. Then I got bit again! 3 missed pick ups for the same shipment. No customer service! I can not believe Central Transport is not seeing this complaint. Apparently, they're not concerned. The new owner must be idiots. BBB will be getting a complaint letter.

Unfortunately, I worked in the Customer service department. And what sucks even more is that they train us to and give us scripts for all and any situations.

Whats most frustrating is that dispatchers/terminals/ and supervisors are little to no help whenever we had questions on shipments.

Whats even worse, is that because of how shady they are, the CS department is instructed to never " Guarentee" when a driver will be there for a pick up or a delivery. So glad I don't work there anymore

THIS COMPANY IS THE WORST

For my full review go to this site... www.centraltransportfreight.com So after being there for 1 1/2 hours, I learned a few things 1) They have NO customer service... 2) They only have 3 out of the 7 pallets that were scheduled to be at my warehouse at 9am that day. 3) I cannot take the pallet that I desperately need for my customers. 4) If I take one pallet, I have to take all of the pallets..Which means since they don’t even have the pallets.. Which was impossible for me to do since I only have a van. And also they don’t even have all of the pallets, so I would still have to go back and pick up the rest whenever they got them if I even had the means to do so. 5) THIS IS THE KILLER PART... See the email reply below from them.. If I were to pick up the pallets they would have to be switched to “will call” status and there is an extra charge for me to pick up the pallets at their terminal even though they missed the scheduled delivery time.. Can you imagine my frustration???

Waiting Time Review

No customer service 1hr+ wait then product not delivered, when set up time waited over 1 hr after they said only18 min wait time calling back looking for the truck .. Very poor customer service. Will not let any suppliers ship with this company ..
