Central Transport picked up a shipment from my warehouse in Atlanta, GA on 11/1. It arrived at their terminal in Hayward, CA on 11/8. As of 11/28 (20 DAYS!) they have yet to deliver the shipment to my customer in Carmel, CA. They keep telling my customer and myself that "It will deliver tomorrow." THEY COMPLETLY DESTROYED MY SHIPMENT, THEY ROLLLED MY COMPRESSOR AND BROKE THE MOTOR AND BENT THE CRANKSHAFT ON THE COMPRESSOR, THERE CLAIMS SAID WOULD ONLY PAY 10 CENTS PER POUND. DOES NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL. TELLS ME THE DRIVERS ARE ONLY SUPOSED TO DRIVE AND NOT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT THE GOODS. The fastest service I ever received from Central Transport was 10 days, and that was from San Antonio Tx, to Albuquerque. The longest was three weeks to us from Kansas. I always request shippers to not use them, but every once in a while they get me. If you trace the shipment, and send an email to "29 minutes or less" link requesting that they make the shipment "HOT" sometimes that helps. It did on the 10 day shipment; so, it only sat in... Central transport is a crooked place to work....for rookies that know Nothing about trucking may like it for the first 4 months because of going home but after awhile they too will see thats its a *** company....they WILL NOT pay you on time..they WILL NOT make effort to pay you if they cause error on your paycheck..they WILL NOT go the extra mile to do anything for a driver...trailers are ***... terminals are Horrible...itsdam near IMPOSSIBLE... June 08 2016 one shipment being lost for 5 weeks and when it was finally delivered partially damaged. As of Oct 19 claim unpaid and they are paying less than damages because of the carriage value.claim $779.00 they are paying $580.00 June 2016 two other shipments damaged resulting in claims one has been paid. One paid $389.00 the other is still undecided $361.00 3 claims in one month with Central, in a typical year we have zero or one claim.... Read more

Had a load 369-2156322-1 with driver Rivera i believe thats his name since he didnt want to give me (when i ask his name he turned around and walk away and spoke softly ... He left the pallet outside of the facility and had an attitude when giving me the paper and the handheld to sign. He is not the normal driver but when he comes he is always with a bad attitude. I had never shipped LTL before but my company is growing and i now have to learn. Sales rep visited my store and helped to explain how it works and what to do. i had pricing for my shipments within a day. i wish that i knew more of what their website could do. We would really like to give no stars to Central Transport. We have been using Central for years and thought we built a relationship with them. We set up a pick up to go to one of customers and thy picked up the freight and they took possession of our material and damaged it in the freight process. CT is now contracting with Landstar for the northeast. I spoke to the Land star Agent who is posting on land star load boards for LS owner operators to drive CT loads for less than spot rate for forced Linehaul at night. It seems that the LS agent is directly connected to CT and talks like he is a big executive. When you ask questions to negotiate the rate, they hang up on you. We had the company pick up a door for a Ford Edge as we had it scheduled in for repairs the following week. We expected the door to be here that Monday, but the company lost our door for over a month.
