Central Transport complaint
I am A/P for my company and we received a collections notice from a company about a bill owed to Central Transport. In looking at our records, we had some problem with the company regarding damaged cabnets. It was all fixed and the bill was paid almost 10 months after the problem started. (I was not with the company then.)

The bill was paid and I have a copy of the check, showing that it was cashed. However, we were still receiving notices from the company concerning the account. The old accounts payable contacted them and they assured her the bill was to be closed as we paid. Now, over a year after the bill was paid we receive this notice. I called Central Transport about it and they will not talk to me. The A/R, Christie, told me its in collections, she couldn't help me and hung up the phone. I have never dealt with such rudeness.
